Treatment for everyday pain and sports injuries

Whether pain is interrupting your day or keeping you away from sport, the starting point is understanding your symptoms, your movement and what you want to get back to.

I use neuromuscular therapy, with a particular interest in myofascial trigger points. Your assessment guides the treatment approach, which may include hands-on work, dry needling or practical movement advice where appropriate.

An old injury. A stubborn problem. A fresh look.

I have a particular interest in persistent pain and old injuries that still affect how you move, including problems that have been present for years or even decades.

If previous approaches have brought little relief, or you have been told you simply have to live with it, you are welcome to discuss your history with me. We can explore whether an assessment is a useful next step and what treatment or referral may be appropriate.

Treatment appointments: €80 · 60 minutes
The same treatment fee applies to general pain and sports injuries. You can enquire directly without choosing a particular technique.

General pain & everyday movement

For discomfort or stiffness affecting work, daily activities or the things you enjoy. You do not need to play sport to come to JK Therapy.

Examples to discuss at your assessment

  • Back, neck and shoulders: pain, stiffness or restricted movement.
  • Arms and hands: elbow discomfort and symptoms associated with repetitive tasks.
  • Hips, knees, feet and ankles: discomfort affecting everyday movement.
  • Longstanding injuries: pain or movement difficulties that persist years after the original injury.
  • Sciatica / sciatic pain: pain travelling into the buttock or leg, sometimes with tingling.
  • Heel and sole-of-foot pain: including symptoms described as plantar fasciitis. Assessment considers whether that description fits your symptoms.
  • Nerve-related symptoms: nerve pain, tingling sensations or a previous diagnosis of nerve entrapment, with suitability for treatment assessed individually.
  • Recurring muscle tension: problems that keep returning during work or daily life.

Not sure which section fits?

These are two starting points, not two different booking processes. Tell me what is troubling you and we can discuss whether an assessment is appropriate. Not every symptom is muscular or suitable for this treatment; referral may be appropriate.
